Vegetablian Tokyo 21 - Shirube Izakaya in Shimokitazawa

Thanks to a great tip of a lovely friend we found a really beautiful, delicious and vegan friendly izakaya in Shimokitazawa. It is more expensive than other izakayas we know in Shinjuku or Shibuya, but the food (especially the vegan options) is much nicer! And since everytime we went we got a 1000¥ discount for the next time it is not too bad at all!
As an apetizer we got a really nice salat! We couldn't really identify some things in the salat, so we checked and luckily all ingredients were vegetables! Then we ordered stir fried seasonal vegetables, edamame and fresh vegetables. The fresh vegetables normally come with anchovie sauce, but it was no problem to ask them to use another sauce. The edamame were prepared with a delicious chilli oil, very different to the usual ones!
The atmosphere in Shirube Izakaya was awesome, the food delicious and the staff extremely friendly, so even though the price is a bit higher than in other izakayas, I definitely recommend you to go there!!!

Edit: Last time we went they sadly put fishflakes (katsuo) on top of the stir fried veggies, so to be sure you should tell them that you can't eat that!

Vegetablian Tokyo 20 - "Madosh! cafe" avocado restaurant

Today we had lunch at madosh!cafe, a restaurant between the stations Shibuya and Harajuku. All dishes this restaurant offers have avocado in them. If you want a lunch set (meal+drink) it costs 1600¥, if you go without a drink it's 1300¥. We went for the first one and chose the mango-avocado-smoothie. It was delicious!

The lunch menu offered three different dishes, two of them were vegetarian. One is a avocado-cheese-omelette and the other one is called "chilli beans veggy plate". The veggy plate was sadly sold out, but next time I will check out if it even is vegan.

So I had the avocado-cheese-omelette and it was very good! First I was a bit sceptical if the food is worth the quite high price. But in my opinion it is! So if you love avocado as much as I do, you won't regret going to madosh!cafe for lunchtime (11:30 to 15:30)!

Vegetablian Tokyo 19 - Nagi Shokudo (vegan restaurant in Shibuya)

Nagi Shokudo is a small, vegan restaurant not so far from the station Shibuya.
At lunchtime they offer four differernt lunch sets between 1050¥ and 1250¥. All include a drink and miso soup. If you take the one for 1250¥, you can pick three different delis from the ones you can see behind the counter. That's what we took and it was really delicious!

The food was great, the atmosphere nice and the waitress super kind. So it's definately worth going :) !

On our way out we saw a sign on the door that said "Take out lunch 600¥". Next time I go I will check that out!

Vegetablian Sapporo 1 - Soup Curry Di Savoy

The restaurant Di Savoy in Sapporo's city center serves a vegetarian option of the soup curry that Sapporo is famous for!

The soup curry contains a lot of different vegetables and is served with rice. It's really delicious and in my opinion the price (1240¥) is definitely fair, because it made me very happy :) !

It is inside a big building with various shops, so you need to look out for the yellow sign that you can see in one of the photos.

The lower one is the vegetarian curry
